One upload. Every art form. A revenue share you can actually see.
Afora is a platform for work made by humans — music, visual art, writing, 3D, craft. You keep your rights. Your split is published before you upload. And you never touch a crypto wallet to get paid.
Takes about 60 seconds. Applications reviewed weekly. Confirm: free to join, no exclusivity
100% human-made — verifiedYou keep your rightsNo crypto setup required
If you have ever opened a royalty statement and laughed, keep reading.
You already know all of this. We are only writing it down so you know we understand the job.
The maths does not work
The major streaming platforms pay somewhere around a third of a cent per stream, and you see that only after your distributor takes its share. Volume you cannot realistically reach is the only path to a living. Confirm figure + link a public source here
The machines are in the queue with you
Generated tracks and generated images cost nothing to make and nothing to upload. To a recommendation engine they are indistinguishable from work that took you three years. You are competing on volume against something that has infinite volume.
Nobody will show you the split
Ask a platform exactly how your revenue is divided and you get a formula, a range, or a dashboard that reports pennies with no working shown. You cannot argue with a number you are not allowed to see.
None of that is a technology problem. It is a decision somebody made about who gets paid.
The mechanism
Here is exactly how you get paid.
Three steps. No formula you cannot check. No wallet to set up.
01
You upload once.
Audio, images, writing, 3D, craft — all of it goes into one place, under one account. Your work is tagged as human-made at the point of upload.
One upload · every medium
Tagged human-made
02
Someone experiences your work, and the split happens right there.
The revenue is divided at the moment of the transaction, not pooled and redistributed months later. Your percentage is published before you upload anything, so you agree to it in advance rather than discovering it afterwards. Confirm actual percentage + timing
Your share
Platform
Published before upload. Exact split pending confirmation.
03
Your share lands in a wallet we created for you when you signed up.
You sign in with an email or a social account, the same as any other site. Afora generates the wallet in the background. There is no seed phrase to write down, no exchange to register with, no gas fee to work out. If you never want to hear the word blockchain again, you never have to. Confirm withdrawal to AUD + fees

Direct Share puts your work, and your share, first.
Your workTheir experience
We call it Direct Share. Revenue is divided at the moment someone experiences your work—not pooled, hidden, or recalculated later. Confirm mechanism name
The other mechanism
‘Made by a human’ is a status here, not a caption.
Anyone can type ‘no AI used’ under a post. Nobody checks it, so it means nothing. On Afora, human authorship is verified at upload and carried with the work everywhere it travels on the platform.
Verified at upload.
Confirm: describe the actual verification step in one plain sentence. What does the artist do, and what does Afora check?
Carried with the work.
The verified marker stays attached to the piece wherever it appears on Afora — in a curated layer, in a collection, in a 4D experience.
Enforced, not requested.
Work that fails verification does not sit quietly further down a feed. It does not go on the platform. Confirm this is the actual policy
What your work can do here that it cannot do anywhere else.
Your whole practice, in one place
If you make music and also paint, you currently run two audiences on two platforms and neither one knows about the other half of your work. Here they are the same body of work under one name.
Your work becomes part of something layered
A listener can build an experience that puts your track underneath someone else's sculpture and a third artist's writing. Your work travels into rooms you would never have been invited into.
Chosen, not served
People arrive here to look for things. Nothing is pushed into a feed to hit an engagement target. When someone finds your work, they went and found it.
You can see who they are
Confirm the actual artist-audience connection feature: direct messaging? named supporters? a dashboard showing who returned? This card is not written until the feature is confirmed.
Card visuals are placeholder compositions. Replace with real product screenshots or artist work before launch. Confirm assets
No. Nothing is minted, nothing is sold as a collectable, and there is no speculation. The blockchain part exists for one reason: so the split of money can be seen and cannot be quietly changed later. You will never be asked to buy anything.
‘Do I need a crypto wallet?’
No. You sign in with an email or a social account. The wallet is created for you in the background and you never have to look at it. No seed phrase, no exchange account, no gas fees.
‘Do I hand over my rights?’
No. You keep your copyright and your ownership. You license Afora to display and distribute your work on the platform, and you can withdraw it. Confirm exact licence terms + withdrawal process; must match the artist agreement word for word
‘How big is the audience right now?’
Small. We are not going to pretend otherwise. Afora is early, and the first artists on it will have more room and more influence over how it works than anyone who joins later. If you need an audience of millions today, you should stay where you are. If you want a say in how the next platform pays people, this is the window. Replace ‘small’ with a real number as soon as one exists
‘What does it cost me?’
Confirm: this must be answered on the page. Any pricing question left unanswered on a landing page is assumed to be bad news.
‘Who is behind this?’
Afora is a company registered in Melbourne, Australia, founded by Patrick and Pippa. Over time, decisions about the platform move to the people using it, through community governance. The revenue split is the one thing that stays fixed. Confirm ABN + one line each on who the founders are

Comparisons describe the general market as at August 2026. Terms on other platforms vary.
We are early. Here is what you can check.
A clear view of who is building Afora, how the revenue works, and where artists have a say.

The revenue terms are published, not promised.
Read the split, the timing and the conditions before you apply. If we ever change them, the change is published too.

If it is a yes, you get an onboarding link. Setting up takes a few minutes and does not involve crypto.
Prototype note: in production this redirects to /artists/thanks and fires the Lead event (Pixel + CAPI, one shared event_id) on submit. See build spec §8 and §9.
A few more things
How long until I hear back?
We review applications weekly and reply either way. Confirm the actual timeframe, then hold to it
Do I have to leave the platforms I am on now?
No. There is no exclusivity. Keep everything where it is and add Afora alongside it. Confirm
What countries can apply?
Confirm: this determines both payout capability and the ad campaign’s geo targeting. If Afora can only pay artists in certain countries, geo-limit the campaign to match.
How old do I have to be?
You need to be 18 or over to apply as an artist. Confirm (see build spec §12.4)
What happens to my work if Afora shuts down?
Confirm. Do not skip this question. Every artist who has been burned by a platform closing will ask it, and having an answer is a competitive advantage.
Is there an app?
Confirm
Who do I contact if I have a question?
Confirm: a real, monitored email address, not a contact form on another page.
One upload. Every art form. A share you can see.
Afora is early, and the artists who arrive early shape what it becomes. Applications take about a minute.
